Blood And Food Drive Slated For Late July In Glen Ellyn

GLEN ELLYN, IL — A food and blood drive will be held in late July to help neighbors in need in and around Glen Ellyn.
The event is slated for July 22 at Ackerman SFC. Those who want to donate food items or blood can simply walk in between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Or, you can click the link to pre-register to donate blood.
Toiletries and food will be collected and sent to Glen Ellyn Food Pantry. The pantry currently lists the following items as those most urgently needed:

- Boxed pasta
- Salad dressing
- Ketchup and mustard
- Canned pasta
- Sloppy Joe mix
- Mayonnaise
- Crackers
- Pickles and relish
- Sugar
- Barbecue sauce
