Investigation Underway After Bomb Threat Evacuates Glenbard West
Police are investigating a bomb threat that took place at Glenbard West High School Thursday morning.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — An investigation is underway after a bomb threat was called in to Glenbard West High School Thursday morning.
The high school was evacuated as a precautionary measure around 8:30 a.m., access to the school was cut off and traffic was prohibited in the surrounding area.
As of 12:13 p.m. police gave he all-clear to return to the building, but said the incident would remain under investigation.

In a news release issued late Thursday afternoon, Chief Philip Norton stated, "We take these threats seriously. We’ll use all our available resources to find the individual responsible for the threat. We are grateful for our community partners who assisted throughout the event."
