Boy, 10, Brings 'Large Kitchen Knife' To Lombard School: Cops
Police say the 10-year-old, who faces felony charges, told another student, "everyone in the school is going to die."

LOMBARD, IL — A 10-year-old boy faces felony charges after he brought a "large kitchen knife" to an elementary school in Lombard Tuesday, police say. According to authorities, a student at Park View Elementary School reportedly heard the boy say, "everyone in the school is going to die."
"The fact that a ten-year-old boy allegedly made this type of a threat is extremely disturbing," DuPage County State's Attorney Robert Berlin said in a statement.
The boy was charged with one felony count of disorderly conduct for making a threat to a school. He was also faces two misdemeanor weapons charges.

The boy is set to appear in court on Feb. 25.
