Burglars Nab More Than $1600 In Jewelry In Glen Ellyn
Gold coins and jewelry were reported stolen from the home.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Glen Ellyn police are investigating a burglary in which more than $1,600 in jewelry and other valuables was taken from a home. According to police, the incident took place on July 22 in the 100 block of Tanglewood.
Around 5:42 p.m., the victim reported that their home had been burglarized and ransacked, police say. Items that were stolen from the home include gold coins and various pieces of jewelry.
The total loss was estimated at $1,650.
