Car Stolen In Glen Ellyn, Found In Hillside: Cops

GLEN ELLYN, IL — A car that was stolen from a Glen Ellyn residence ended up being recovered in Hillside, police say. The car theft took place Sunday in the first block of Sunset, according to a police summary.

The victim told police that their GMC Envoy had been stolen while they were away from their home between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. During an investigation, responding officers from the Glen Ellyn Police Department learned that Illinois State Police had recovered the vehicle in Hillside.
