Car Stolen, Home Burglarized: Glen Ellyn Police Bulletins
Police say one victim came home to find that a burglar had forced their way in.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Police in Glen Ellyn are investigating two separate incidents in which a car was stolen and a home was burglarized. The car was stolen on July 11 in the first block of Surrey and the home burglary was reported on July 12 in the 200 block of Lorraine.
According to police, the auto theft victim parked their gold 1992 Toyota Camry in a lot in the first block of Surrey and returned around 1 a.m. on July 11 to find that the vehicle had been stolen.
The victim who reported the July 12 home burglary told police that they got home to find that someone had forced entry into their house. The break-in was discovered just after 4 p.m. The police summary states that it was unclear whether anything had been stolen.
