Car Stolen From Motel Parking Lot in Glen Ellyn: Police

GLEN ELLYN, IL — A car was stolen from the parking lot of a hotel in Glen Ellyn on Sunday, according to police. The owner of the vehicle reported the incident at approximately 10:30 a.m. in the parking lot of Budgetel Inn at 600 Roosevelt Road.

Police say the stolen car is a 2000 Honda Accord. There was also a LGV20 cell phone inside the car during the time of the theft. The car theft comes just as police are warning Glen Ellyn residents of a string of vehicle burglaries and thefts in the area.
