Car Window Shattered, Wallets Stolen: Glen Ellyn Crime Blotter
Glen Ellyn police responded to multiple reports of theft between Nov. 15 and Nov. 18.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — The following information was taken from the Glen Ellyn police blotter through November 18.
Theft
11/13: A resident reportedly left their cellphone in the employee bathroom at The Meadows of Glen Ellyn, 60 Nicoll Ave. Upon returning to retrieve the phone, they noticed it had been taken. The incident took place at approximately 5:23 p.m.

11/15: A small brown wallet was reported stolen from a table at Panera Bread, 541 Roosevelt Rd. The wallet, which was taken around 10:30 a.m. had $140 cash and some credit cards inside. The credit cards were later used for fraudulent transactions.
11/16: At approximately 7:11 p.m., a black wallet was reported missing from The Meadows of Glen Ellyn, 60 Nicoll Ave. The victim told police the wallet contained credit cards and approximately $250 cash.

Criminal Damage to Property
11/15 to 11/16: Sometime between 10 p.m. on Nov. 15 and 8 a.m. on Nov. 16, suspect(s) broke the rear window of a vehicle parked in the first block of Briar.
Damage to Village Property
11/18: Police say suspect(s) knocked down a stop sign on the parkway near the intersection of Montclair and Hill Ave.
