Carnival, Live Music Coming To Downtown Glen Ellyn In May, June
The Glen Ellyn Carnival will bring rides, games and food vendors May 18 through May 22 and the Summer Concert Series will kick off June 2.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — Downtown Glen Ellyn will come to life this spring in summer when the Glen Ellyn Carnival and the new First Thursdays Summer Concert Series kicks off.
The carnival will bring rides, games of chance and fair-style food vendors to 475 Crescent Blvd. May 18 through May 22. The hours are as follows:
- May 18: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- May 19: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- May 20: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- May 21: 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- May 22: 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Come June, the Glen Ellyn First Thursdays Summer Concert Series will kick off, replacing the Taste of Glen Ellyn. Live music will be performed in the Glenwood/Crescent parking lot on the first Thursday of each month, starting June 2 and running through Sept. 1. Food and drinks will also be available for purchase.
