Carol Stream Woman Charged in West Chicago Hit and Run
The victim in the hit and run was transferred to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital to be treated for significant injuries.

A 57-year-old Carol Stream woman faces charges following a hit and run in unincorporated West Chicago late last night.
Kim H. Phan has been charged with failure to report an accident involving personal injury, which is a class 2 felony, according to the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office press release.
At approximately 11:40 p.m. Wednesday, the sheriff’s office received a report of a hit and run involving a pedestrian on Fair Oaks Road and Trieste Lane in West Chicago.

The victim had just exited their vehicle, when Phan’s vehicle hit the victim and left the scene of the accident. The victim was transferred to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital to be treated for significant injuries.
Phan is currently being held in the DuPage County Jail and is expected in bond court Thursday afternoon.
