Carol Stream Woman Found After Disappearing Christmas Night
Catherine Ann Monckton has been found after going missing around 7:30 p.m. on Christmas night, according to her son.

CAROL STREAM, IL — A Carol Stream woman who had been missing since Christmas night has been found. Catherine Ann Monckton, was last seen at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 25, according to a Facebook post from her son, Mark. Monckton updated his post Wednesday to say his mother had been located.
Mark Monckton wrote on Facebook that he has been searching for his mother "non-stop" since her disappearance and has filed a missing person report with the Carol Stream Police Department. She was last seen leaving her daughter's home on Penfield Drive.

Monckton is 5-foot, 8-inches tall, weights 190 pounds and has gray hair and green eyes, according to police. She last was seen wearing a long, dark-green wool coat, gray shirt, black or dark jeans and black boots.
