Christine Fenne Re-elected College of DuPage Board of Trustees Chair

The College of DuPage Board of Trustees re-elected Christine Fenne as its Chair at the Board’s annual Organizational Meeting held April 25.

The Wheaton resident, who first became chair in 2023, previously served as Vice Chair and has held a variety of roles since being elected to a six-year term in April 2017. Fenne also served as Board Secretary, on the Board’s Auxiliary and Outreach Committee, on the Presidential Search Committee and as the Board’s Strategic Long Range Plan liaison. She also served as Board Chair in 2021 following the resignation of Frank Napolitano.

“It is a privilege to serve the College of DuPage community and I look forward to continuing the Board’s work to craft the future of the institution,” Fenne said.

In addition, Trustee Heidi Holan of Glen Ellyn was re-elected to serve a one-year term as Board Vice Chair and Trustee Andrew Manno of Aurora was re-elected to serve as Board Secretary.

The Board also welcomed Student Trustee Anam Sultana of Lombard. She replaces outgoing Student Trustee Rai, who was recognized at the meeting for her service.
