Coach Wallet Stolen At Elementary School: Glen Ellyn Blotter
Items on the Glen Ellyn blotter included home and car burglaries and a Coach wallet stolen at Churchill Elementary School.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — The following items are from the Glen Ellyn Police blotter, which included reports of burglarized homes, pilfered golf clubs, stolen Hennessy, and a wallet theft that took place at a local elementary school.
Theft under $500
Oct. 3: A woman reported her brown Coach wallet had been stolen from her purse at Churchill Elementary School, 240 Geneva Rd., on Tuesday, October 3. The victim told police the incident took place some time between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 pm.

Burglary from Motor Vehicle/Residential Burglary
Oct. 1-2: Some time between 10 p.m. on October 1 and 8 a.m. on October 2, a resident in the 200 block of Forest told police that unidentified suspect(s) entered an unlocked garage on the property and removed two Calloway golf clubs. The offender(s) then entered two unlocked vehicles and took a woman's Nike golf vest and a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses.

Oct. 1-2: A resident in the 200 block of Main St. reported that an unknown suspect or suspects entered their open garage some time between 9 p.m. Oct. 1 and 3:54 p.m. Oct 2. The offender(s) removed several golf clubs and a baseball glove, police said.
Oct. 3: A suspect entered an unlocked car at the Main and Crescent Commuter lot between 7:15 p.m. and 7:55 p.m. and removed the following items: a Lenovo laptop, an iPod, a calculator, and various school and library books. Prescription eyeglasses and prescription medications were also taken.
Retail Theft
Oct. 4: A retail theft incident was reported at the Trader Joe's at 680 Roosevelt Rd. just before 11 a.m. Staff told police they witnessed offenders removing a bottle of Moet Hennessy V.S. Cognac. The suspects were described as three African-American males between the ages of 20 and 30.
The first suspect was described as wearing dark pants and a white coat. The second suspect was described as wearing a Cubs World Series jacket, but no further description was available. Staff told police the third suspect wore a matching dark hat, shirt, and pants, all with red accents.
