COD and Village Reach Agreement

The lawyers for both groups met in court Wednesday and reached an agreement over the four buildings in question.

The and the village of Glen Ellyn have reached an agreement over four recently constructed or renovated buildings, according to the Daily Herald

The Daily Herald is reporting that after Friday's final round of village-led inspections, the village will issue occupancy certificates for the four buildings in question by Monday, Aug. 8. 

That means those four classroom buildings will be available for students by the first day of school on Aug. 22.

The village considered issuing a restraining order to ban students from occupying the buildings after the college failed to obtain the proper building permits from the village.
