COD Music Department Faculty Perform March 24 at the MAC
Faculty from the College of DuPage school of music will perform at the McAninch Arts Center's Playhouse Theater on March 24.

Faculty performers from the College of DuPage Music program will be highlighted at a concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Mar. 24, in the Playhouse Theatre at the McAninch Arts Center on the Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.
In addition to holding advanced degrees in their fields, faculty members of COD’s Music program are active performers in the Chicago area and internationally. Performers include:
- Julie Spring, harp
- Carolyn May, flute
- Michael Stewart, trumpet
- Dave Rice, jazz piano, with guests Larry Ortega, drums, and Geoff Lowe, bass
- Matt Shevitz, tenor saxophone
- Steve Ramsdell, guitar
The program for the event includes “Persichetti Serenade No. 10” for flute and harp, “La Catedral” by Agustín Barrios, as well as other selections as announced. Tickets are $7 and may be purchased online or by calling the MAC Box Office at (630) 942-4000.
