COD Police Department Offers Free Courses in Crisis Situations
Courses are free and open to the public.

Learn best practices for crisis management through two courses offered in July by the College of DuPage Police Department in Room 1453 in the Berg Instructional Center, 425 Fawell Blvd.
Courses are free and open to the public. Registration is required.
“Making Prevention a Reality,” presented from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, July 11, offers participants tips to identify pre-incident behaviors, enhance situational awareness and more.

“Stop the Bleed,” presented from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, July 21, provides an overview of best practices in emergency situations where uncontrollable bleeding occurs.
"Arming yourself with information is a key step to successfully navigating a crisis,” said COD Police Chief Joe Mullin. “The College of DuPage Police Department is proud to offer these resources, providing participants valuable information they can apply to many different situations."
