COD Radiography Program Hosts Open Houses March 14 and April 19
The event is free and open to anyone looking for an exciting career in health care.

The Diagnostic Medical Imaging Radiography program at College of DuPage will host open house events for prospective students from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, and 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, in the Health and Science Center, Room 1125, on COD’s Glen Ellyn campus at 425 Fawell Blvd.
The event is free and open to anyone looking for an exciting career in health care that involves helping people and working with cutting edge technology.
Guests will be able to review the Radiography program and the admission process, tour of the campus Radiography lab and explore various types of X-ray equipment.

COD’s DMIR program features interactive and hands-on courses that teach students various aspects of radiography including radiographic physics, radiographic equipment, film critique, basic pathophysiology, radiation safety and patient care. Upon completion, students earn an Associate of Applied Science degree and may sit for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) credentialing examination. In addition to the ARRT, students are eligible to apply for state licensure.

The College’s fall 2023 semester begins Monday, Aug. 21, and includes a 16-week, two 12-week and two eight-week sessions. Priority registration, for current students with 30 or more credit, begins April 12. Open registration begins April 19. For more information, visit cod.edu/registration.
