COD Receives Nine Medallion Awards From the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations

The Marketing and Communications Division at College of DuPage has received nine Medallion Awards, including two golds, during the recent National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) District 3 fall conference.
The Medallion competition recognizes outstanding work in design and communication at community and technical colleges. Wendy E. Parks, Vice President of Public Relations, Marketing and Communications at COD, praised her team for its ability to create quality and imaginative materials that highlight the institution and everything it offers.
“The Marketing and Communications team has done an outstanding job in our continued support of student success,” she said. “I am extremely grateful for this talented group of professionals and for the recognition from our peers.”

The two gold awards were for the EMT/Fire Science Program Guide in the Brochure (single or series) category and the “It’s Like …” campaign in the Successful Recruitment or Marketing Program category. The College also received three silver and four bronze awards.
COD President Dr. Brian Caputo said the awards reflect the dedication of a staff that consistently works hard to illustrate the College’s positive impact on students.

“During a time when a community college education is more important than ever before, I applaud our Marketing and Communications team for showcasing all that the College does for both students and the community,” he said.
College of DuPage is institutionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Serving approximately 21,000 students each term, College of DuPage is the largest public community college in the state of Illinois. The College grants seven associate degrees and offers more than 170 career and technical certificates in over 50 areas of study.
