College of DuPage Board of Trustees Seek Candidates for Vacant Seat

The College of DuPage Board of Trustees is seeking candidates to fill a Board vacancy following the resignation of Trustee Heidi Holan.

Holan, who most recently served as vice chair, is moving out of the district and resigned July 22.

"On behalf of the Board of Trustees, we are truly grateful for the hard work and dedication of Heidi Holan to College of DuPage, our students and District 502," said Board of Trustees Chair Christine Fenne. "We wish Heidi and her family all the best in their future endeavors."

The Board is required to appoint a trustee to serve until the next general election in April 2025.

To qualify, a candidate must be a citizen of the United States who is at least 18 years old, a registered voter and a resident of the Illinois Community College District 502 for a minimum of one year prior to the appointment. Applicants must submit a letter of interest and resume to kalinl@cod.edu by Wednesday, Aug. 7.

Following review of all applicants, the full Board will determine which candidates will advance to the interview process. These candidates will be notified that they are required to attend the Board of Trustees meeting on Thursday, Aug. 22 for an in-person interview.
