College of DuPage Hosting Free Legal Clinic Expo March 16

Topics include housing equity, veterans' benefits, family law matters and record expungement.

The Office of the General Counsel at College of DuPage is hosting a free legal clinic expo open to the community from noon to 2 p.m. on Monday, March 16, in the Student Resource Center, Room 2000, at the College’s Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

The event, “Ask a Legal Expert - Guidance and Resources for Everyday Legal Issues,” will provide answers to questions related to the justice system and general legal matters. Topics include housing equity, veterans' benefits, family law matters and record expungement.

Representatives from UIC Law Fair Housing Legal Clinic, Legal Aid Chicago, Prairie State Legal Services, the DuPage County Bar Association and the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office will be present. The event will also feature Metropolitan Family Services and COD resources.
