College of DuPage Joins Google AI for Education to Advance Campus AI Literacy

The collaboration will help to equip the campus community with the experience needed to thrive in an ever changing work environment.

College of DuPage is expanding access to artificial intelligence tools through a collaboration with Google for Education. As part of this initiative, students, faculty, and staff will receive no-cost access to Gemini for Education™ and NotebookLM™, Google’s advanced AI tools designed to support learning, research and creativity in a private and secure environment. The collaboration advances the College’s AI Literacy Program, equipping the campus community with the knowledge and experience needed to thrive in a workforce increasingly shaped by AI and emerging technologies.

Beginning in the 2026–2027 academic year, students will use these tools to support coursework, research, and career preparation. Faculty and staff will also have access to these resources to enhance teaching, instructional design, collaboration and operational efficiency.

By integrating industry-relevant AI tools into academic and operational environments, College of DuPage ensures that students, faculty and staff gain hands-on experience with technologies already transforming fields such as healthcare, business, manufacturing, information technology, education and the arts.
