DUI, Drug Charges

Glen Ellyn police arrested Sheila A. Odom, 53, of 403 N. President in Wheaton, at Geneva and Evergreen at 12:43 a.m. on May 26 for DUI-Drugs/Alcohol, driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage, obstructing identification, possession of drug paraphernalia and on an in-state warrant.

Prohibited Sales of Tobacco

Police arrested Lillian Fuentes of Glendale Heights at Walgreens, 840 Main St., at 3:40 p.m. on May 26 and charged her with prohibited sales of tobacco.

DUI, Drug Charges

Police arrested Saige Gonzalez, 22, of West Chicago, in the 0 to 100 block of Baker Hill at 1:34 a.m. on May 28. She is charged with DUI, DUI over .08, possession of marijuana 30 grams and under and possession of drug paraphernalia.

DUI

Police arrested Sarah B. Halprin, 29, of Chicago, in the 600 block of Roosevelt at 2:44 a.m. on May 28. She is charged with DUI, DUI over .08, disobeying a traffic control device, expired registration, driving while license suspended, possession of marijuana and on an in-state warrant.

DUI

Police arrested Basit A. Lodhi, 40, of 1315 Modaf Road in Naperville, at 1:46 a.m. on May 30 at the Shell Gas Station, 631 Roosevelt Road. He is charged with DUI/disobeying traffic control and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Criminal Damage to Property

Police arrested Joseph J. Bonfitto, 53, of Lemont, at 5:25 a.m. on May 30 in the 500 block of Lee. He is charged with criminal damage to property, violation of order of protection, criminal defacement of property and driving in wrong lane.

Police responded to the following reports in recent days:

  • Police received a report of an iPhone 5s that was stolen from a home in the 200 block of Surrey.
  • A resident reported a person entered the master bedroom of their home in the 200 block of Orchard between May 9 and 20 and removed jewelry.
  • Condoms containing a green residue were thrown onto the front lawn of a home in the 500 block of Lee. Homeowners reported the criminal damage at 3:55 pm. on May 24. The green residue caused damage to the lawn.
  • Thieves removed a donation box located in the 600 block of Roosevelt at some time between April 1 and May 26.
  • Police received a report of a theft that occurred at Glenbard West High School, 670 Crescent, at some point between 8 a.m. and 6:51 p.m. on May 26. An American Express gift card, $20 in cash and a Chase debit card were stolen from a wallet.
  • Police received a report of damage to a property in the 500 block of Lee between 11 p.m. on May 27 and 6:42 a.m. on May 28. People threw paint-filled eggs and bleach-filled eggs on the front lawn.
  • A golf cart that was left parked with the keys in it was stolen from the 300 block of Rablewood at 3 p.m. on May 28. The golf cart was later located.
