Counterfeit Bill Passed At Jewel-Osco In Glen Ellyn
Police say a suspect presented a fake $50 for payment at Jewel-Osco in Glen Ellyn.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — Police in Glen Ellyn are investigating in incident in which someone presented a counterfeit bill at Jewel-Osco. The incident took place sometime between Jan. 19 and Jan. 20, according to police.
Police say the suspect presented a fake $50 bill for payment at the Jewel-Osco located at 599 Roosevelt Rd. No suspect description was available, as it appears the bill was found to be counterfeit after it was used for payment.
