Craigslist Buyer Pulls Knife on Seller, Steals Computer
A 22-year-old man was robbed of his computer during a Craiglist transaction at a Starbucks store Thursday night.

Glen Ellyn police are looking for a man who brandished a knife and stole a computer from a 22-year-old man who had listed the device on Craigslist.
The victim in the armed robbery agreed to meet the man, who said he was interested in buying the computer, at Starbucks, 691 Roosevelt Road, shortly after 9 p.m. on Thursday, according to a news release from the Glen Ellyn Police Department. The 22-year-old man was confronted by a man, who he believed to be the “buyer.”
A store employee stepped in to help and the employee and seller struggled with the suspect who ended up pulling a knife and stealing the computer, according to the news release.

During the struggle, both the store employee and the victim sustained a minor cut to their hands, according to police.
The suspect is described as a black man who is 6-feet, 4-inches tall with a large build. He was wearing a grey-hooded sweatshirt and black pants and was last seen running westbound from the scene.
