David Trandel, chairman and CEO of Springbank Real Estate Group in Winnetka, is eyeing the site at 460 Crescent Ave. with plans to spend $80 million to raze the vacant grocery store and build two buildings with a mix of apartments, retailers and parking, according to the Daily Herald. The developer is responsible for a similar concept in Arlington Heigths. One Arlington is a 214-unit apartment tower that has an entire floor dedicated to a yoga studio, fitness center, demo kitchen and an outdoor deck.
