District 41 Named Among Best Places For Music Education

The district was named among the Best Communities for Music Education by the National Association of Music Merchants.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Glen Ellyn School District 41 has been recognized as one of the Best Communities for Music Education by the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM).

Districts who earned the distinction were chosen for their ability to "demonstrate outstanding achievement in efforts to provide music access and education to all students," according to a news release from District 41.

Superintendent Dr. Melissa Kaczkowski said in a statement, "I am so extremely proud of our music educators. The passion and commitment that they bring to their students is reflected in the magnitude of this award."

She added, "They truly reach students in a unique way and inspire them to excel. We are extremely fortunate to exist in a community that values and supports the arts.
