DuPage County Board Member Leaves Post for DuPage Homeownership Center

Today Debra Olson announced she is taking the position of Executive Director of the DuPage Homeownership Center.

After nine years on the DuPage County Board, Republican Debra Olson of District 4 announced she will be leaving the board in December for a new position at a non-profit, according to a statement from her office. 

Olson will lead the DuPage Homeownership Center, a housing counseling agency, as the Executive Director. The announcement comes on the last day for candidates to file. 

"It has been an honor and privilege to serve DuPage County residents as a County Board Member,” said Olson in the statement. “I dedicated myself to the role of policy-maker for many years, and am very proud of my achievements on behalf of the taxpayers of DuPage,” in the statement.
