Friday night, September 28 at 7:30 P.M., Glenbard South High School’s football team will take the field against Riverside Brookfield High School. This is the 2012 Homecoming Game and as a special feature Glen Crest Middle School’s Symphonic Band, under the direction of Katrina Berry, will be performing during the pre-game festivities before the varsity football game. They will combine with the Glenbard South Band directed by Brian Dewald and blow the crowds away with their rendition of Chuck Mangione’s “Land of Make Believe.’” The middle school Spartan marchers rehearsed before the beginning of the school day on Wednesday and also on Friday morning at Glenbard South to polish up their musical presentation.
