Fourth of July Festivities

What: Food Truck Picnic

Where: Lake Ellyn Park, 645 Lenox Rd.

When: July 1 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Food Truck Picnic is part of Summer Break on the Lake, a new event featuring beer, wine and live music from Maggie Speaks. the new event comes in the wake of a recent announcement that the Lake Ellyn Cardboard Regatta was canceled for 2022.

What: Glen Ellyn Fourth of July Parade

Where: Downtown Glen Ellyn

When: July 4 at 12 p.m.

Glen Ellyn's Fourth of July Parade will step off from Crescent Boulevard and Ellyn Avenue at noon on July 4. The parade will make its way west on Crescent to Main Street, where it will go north, and then east on Linden Avenue en route to Lake Ellyn.
