Donation Drive To Benefit Glen House Food Pantry
The food drive, which began June 11, is part of local efforts to support those in need during National Hunger Awareness Month.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — The Glen Ellyn Park District launched a food drive Thursday to support patrons of the Glen House Food Pantry. The drive is part of National Hunger Awareness Month, which is observed in June .
Nonperishable foods and personal care items can be dropped off at Ackerman SFC during operating hoursthrough June 16.

- Baking supplies
- Canned beans, dried beans
- Canned fruits and veggies
- Canned soup
- Canned tuna
- Coffee
- Cold cereal
- Condiments
- Cookies
- Granola Bars
- Macaroni and cheese
- Pasta
- Peanut butter and jelly
- Rice
- SpaghettiOs
- Tea
- Tomato sauce and tomato paste
Toiletries needed include deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioners, diapers, hand soap and dish soap, toothpaste, baby wipes, toilet paper and laundry detergent.
