Food Trucks, Music From 'Smooth Sailing:' Summer Break At The Lake

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Summer Break at the Lake is returning to Lake Ellyn Park for a second year, bringing food trucks, live music and more for the 21-and-over crowd.

The event will be held June 30 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with live music performed by Smooth Sailing. Spectators can bring chairs and blankets, but no outside refreshments or food will be allowed.

Instead, guests can grab snacks from one of several food trucks that will roll into the event. Adult beverages will be available for purchase from:

• Common Good Cocktail House
• ko-ze Wine Room
• Fire + Wine
• The Beer Cellar
• Two Hound Red

Last year marked the debut of Summer Break at the Lake, which replaced the Lake Ellyn Cardboard Regatta.
