Free Assistance with Electronic Tax Filing Begins Feb. 11 at COD

Sessions are held on from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays, Feb. 11 through April 15, in the Student Resource Center.

College of DuPage is offering free assistance with electronic filing of state and federal tax returns at convenient locations throughout DuPage County.

Sessions are held on from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays, Feb. 11 through April 15, (no session held April 1), in the Student Resource Center on the College’s Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd. Additional times and locations are from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 19, at the College’s Eola Branch at the Aurora Public Library, 555S. Eola Road in Aurora; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26, at Park View Elementary School, 250 S. Park Blvd. in Glen Ellyn; and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 19, at COD’s Westmont Center, 650 Pasquinelli Drive, and COD’s Carol Stream Center, 500 Kuhn Road.

Internal Revenue Service (IRS)-Certified COD Accounting students, under IRS-Certified instructor supervision, prepare and electronically file state and federal returns for students, staff and community members. Participants must bring all 2022 pertinent tax information, the previous year’s return (2021) and banking account numbers if they would like to receive their return via direct deposit.
