Free Assistance with Electronic Tax Filing Begins Feb. 15 at COD

Sessions are available by appointment on select Saturdays and Wednesdays.

College of DuPage is offering students, faculty, staff and community members free assistance with electronic filing of state and federal tax returns at convenient locations throughout DuPage County.

Sessions are available by appointment on select Saturdays and Wednesdays from Saturday, Feb. 15, until Wednesday, April 9, in the Student Resource Center Room 3000 on the College’s Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

Internal Revenue Service (IRS)-Certified COD Accounting students, under IRS-Certified instructor supervision, prepare and electronically file state and federal returns for students, staff and community members. Participants must bring all 2024 pertinent tax information, the previous year’s return (2023) and banking account numbers if they would like to receive their return via direct deposit.
