Free Narcan Training Nov. 20 at College of DuPage

The training is free and open to the public.

Participants will learn how to recognize the signs of an opiod overdose and administer the opioid overdose reversal drug Narcan in an emergency.

The Continuing Education Department at College of DuPage, in partnership with the DuPage County Health Department, will offer a free naloxone (Narcan) training session from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, In Room 1022 of the Homeland Security Education Center on COD’s Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

The training is free and open to the public. Registration is required.

Participants will learn how to recognize the signs of an opiod overdose and administer the opioid overdose reversal drug Narcan in an emergency. Participants will receive a free Narcan kit.
