Girl, 4, Recovering After Near-Drowning at Warrenville Fitness Center
The accident happened at a Life Time Fitness Thursday, according to media reports.

A 4-year-old girl who was found unresponsive at the bottom of an outdoor pool at the Life Time Fitness in Warrenville is expected to recover, fire officials told the Chicago Tribune.
The girl was not breathing when paramedics arrived at the fitness facility. Those first on scene immediately began to try and resuscitate the girl, by suctioning the water from her airway and through CPR, Warrenville Fire Protection District Chief Dennis Rogers told the newspaper.

“She’s able to answer questions, recall family members and pets,” Rogers told the Chicago Tribune. “I’m just happy there’s a happy ending.”
The incident is under investigation by police and Life Time Fitness, according to the article.

ORIGINAL POST: A 4-year-old girl is on life support following an accident Thursday at an outdoor pool at Life Time Fitness in Warrenville, the Daily Herald reports.
Police were called to the fitness center after staff found the girl unresponsive on the bottom of the pool, according to the article.
The girl was taken to a hospital where she reportedly remained in critical condition as of Friday night, ABC 7 Chicago reports.
The pools were open to only adults following the incident Thursday, according to a post on the Life Time Fitness Warrenville Facebook page. Swim lessons were cancelled Thursday night. Normal pool hours were expected to resume Friday.
