Glen Ellyn Blotter: Wheaton Woman Arrested Twice in Same Day for Public Intoxication

Recent Glen Ellyn police reports.

Glen Ellyn police made the following arrests in recent weeks:

  • Police arrested Ann M. Abel, 46, of 329 Kenilworth Ave., at 7:15 p.m. on May 10 in the 300 block of Kenilworth for criminal trespass to property.
  • Lisa M. Buck, 49, of 703 W. Liberty Drive in Wheaton, was arrested for public intoxication at Brandon and Fairview at 11:29 a.m. on May 11. She was arrested again for the same charge -- public intoxication -- at the Jewel, 599 Roosevelt, at 6:47 p.m. on May 11.
  • Police arrested Mark J. Gangestad, 57, of 1010 E. Illinois St. in Wheaton, at 4:58 p.m. on May 11 in the 1000 block of Illinois in Wheaton for disorderly conduct and resisting a peace officer.
  • Corey W. Foster, 21, of Hickory Hills, was arrested at Ramblewood and Fawell at 11:01 a.m. on May 15 for possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Police arrested two teens for underage drinking at 11:30 p.m. on May 16 in the 200 block of Hill Ave. Aubrey M. Colliander, 19, of 540 Longfellow, and Kayla M. Findley, 19, of 177 N. Kenilworth in Glen Ellyn, were both charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor.
  • Rafael Grancisco-Garcia, 29, of 997 S. Lorraine Road in Wheaton, was arrested at 12:02 a.m. on May 17 at Taft and Lambert for DUI, Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Sign Violation and Improper Lane Usage.
  • Francisco Mendoza, 38, of Naperville, was arrested at 6:48 p.m. on May 17 in the 400 block of Main Street on a theft charge.
  • Police arrested Juan A. Solano, 20, of Addison, in the 800 block of North Main Street at 8:40 p.m. on May 17 for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Glen Ellyn police received the following incident reports in recent weeks:

  • Police received a report of an offender entering the Ace Hardware, 485 Roosevelt, at 11:46 a.m. on May 13 and stealing $2,214 from a safe. The offender is described as a black male, approximately 50-60 years of age, wearing a gray zip jacket and blue jeans with white shoes.
  • An unknown person or persons removed five bins of clothing and a green Schwinn mountain bike from a garage in the 700 block fo Willis between 12:02 a.m. on Oct. 1 and 2:34 p.m. on May 14.
