Glen Ellyn Citrus Sale: Buy Oranges, Grapefruits For Charity

GLEN ELLYN, IL — The Glen Ellyn Rotary's 31st Annual Citrus Sale has already kicked off and is ready to ship out freshly picked packages of grapefruits and oranges this holiday season. The sale benefits several charities throughout DuPage County and gives residents a chance to treat themselves —or someone else— to a sweet and juicy treat this holiday season.

Some of the charities that will benefit from the 31st Annual Citrus Sale include:

• Bridge Communities
• Glen Ellyn Children's Resource Center
• DuPage Pads
• DuPage Senior Citizens Council
• People's Resource Center
• Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans
• Teen Parent Connection
• BR Ryall YMCA

To order your own case of grapefruits, oranges, or a mix of both, visit the Glen Ellyn Rotary 31st Annual Citrus Sale website. Orders will be available for pickup at the Village Links Golf Course on Friday, Dec. 8 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday, Dec. 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Rotary Club is also accepting donations on their website for those who want to help, but aren't interested in buying any citrus fruits.
