Glen Ellyn Civic Center Services To Relocate During Construction

The cashier and planning and development services will be temporarily moved to the building's second floor.

GLEN ELLYN, IL --- The Glen Ellyn Civic Center is preparing to undergo construction that will require some of the facility's services to be relocated. The remodeling, which officials say aims to make the civic center more "customer-service friendly," will begin in December.

Once the construction is complete, the civic center's expanded planning and development department and its cashier will both be on the first floor of the building. In the meantime, the cashier's department has temporarily moved to the Clayton Room on the second floor of the Glen Ellyn Civic Center.

Customers wishing to handle utility bills, yard waste stickers, vehicle stickers, parking permits, and other services can do so on the second level starting Nov. 12. As of Nov. 20, planning and development services, which include zoning, building permits, and annexations, will be housed in the gymnasium on the civic center's second floor.
