Glen Ellyn Cops To Aid Special Olympics At Coffee For Champions

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Glen Ellyn police will share coffee and conversation with residents to raise funds for Special Olympics Illinois and the Law Enforcement Torch Run at an upcoming Coffee for Champions fundraiser at Dunkin' on Aug. 20. Those who make a donation have a chance to receive a free donut, a free coffee and some Law Enforcement Torch Run swag.

Members of the police department will gather at the Dunkin' at 530 Crescent Blvd. from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. Residents who make a donation will get a coupon for a free donut. A donation of $10 or more will land you a Law Enforcement Torch Run travel mug and a coupon for a free coffee.

During the 18th Annual Coffee for Champions event, police officers will visit over 300 Dunkin' locations to raise funds and awareness for the Law Enforcement Torch Run. The initiative has raised over $5.75 million since 2003.
