Glen Ellyn Extends Yard Waste Collection Deadline

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Glen Ellyn residents have a little more time to gather up those broken branches, fallen leaves, and errant pinecones this year. The village has extended its yard waste collection deadline until Monday, Dec. 4. Composting will still be available every other week.

Yard waste stickers are available for sale at the Glen Ellyn Billing and Customer Service office or at the following businesses:

• Jewel-Osco at 599 E. Roosevelt Rd.
• Jewel-Osco at 2031 Main St.
• Len's Ace Hardware at 485 Roosevelt Rd.

Yard waste and leaves must be bagged or bundled and placed on the curb by 7 a.m. on the Monday of your collection day. For more information on yard waste collection, visit the Village of Glen Ellyn website.
