Glen Ellyn Holiday Walk Steps Off On Nov. 24
The annual holiday walk will be held Nov. 24 at 6 p.m.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Downtown Glen Ellyn will be all aglitter on Friday, Nov. 24 for the 42nd annual Holiday Walk. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. when the Glen Ellyn Fire Department uses their equipment to lift Santa Claus high in the air for the holiday tree lighting. The two-hour celebration will also include festive songs and treats.
After Santa lights the tree, kids are invited to march with him down to the fire station. There, kids will be able to meet Santa and tell him their holiday wishes and parents can receive souvenir pics. The village has made cans of candy to pass out to each of the children.
The stores of downtown Glen Ellyn will be lit up and adorned with festive, themed decorations to invite in shoppers for browsing and refreshments.
