Glen Ellyn Park District Awarded Green Region Grant
More than $4,000 will go toward natural area improvements at Maryknoll Park.

ComEd and Openlands announced that the Glen Ellyn Park District is one of only three agencies in DuPage County to receive an environmental grant from the organizations through the annual ComEd Green Region Program.

The Glen Ellyn Park District has received over $4,000 for a project to assist with natural area improvements at Maryknoll Park. A garden at the entry will be enhanced and expanded with pollinator container plants, and select areas of turf in the park will be converted to a pollinator prairie.
