Glen Ellyn Park District Board Elects New Officers

The Glen Ellyn Park District Board of Commissioners elected new officers at it’s Board meeting held on May 3rd. The Board elected officers to one year terms: Jay Kinzler, President; Julia Nephew, Vice President; and Melissa Creech, Treasurer.

In addition, Commissioners were selected to serve as liaisons/chairs for one-year terms as follows:

• Citizens’ Finance Committee Liasons: Rob Weber and Chris Wilson
• Ackerman Sports & Fitness Center Advisory Committee Co-Chairs: Vanessa Pierce and Julia Nephew
• Citizens’ Environmental Committee Co-Chairs: Julia Nephew and Kathy Cornell
• Friends of Glen Ellyn Parks Foundation Liasons: Melissa Creech and Kathy Cornell

Commissioners also appointed Dave Harris as Executive Director and Western DuPage Special Recreation Representative; Kimberly Dikker as Board Secretary; and Ancel Glink as its law firm.
