The Village of Glen Ellyn Historic Preservation Commission is now accepting nominations for its 2016 awards, which recognizes projects completed in 2015 that had a focus on preserving the village’s historic character. There are four different award categories: Restoration of the Year, Remodeling of the Year, Streetscape Compatibility, and Architectural Details.
Entries are accepted for residential (single-family and multi-family), commercial and institutional buildings. Glen Ellyn residents are encouraged to nominate projects of special interest in their neighborhoods; homeowners or builders interested in applying for awards may also self-nominate.
