Glen Ellyn Woman Hurt After Boat Hits House In Lake Of The Ozarks
Roxy Soukup, 23, of Glen Ellyn was among eight people injured when a boat hit a house in Lake of the Ozarks Saturday.
MISSOURI — A Glen Ellyn woman was among eight people hurt after a boat crashed into a house in Lake of the Ozarks on Saturday, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol. Roxy Soukup, 23, sustained "moderate injuries" in the crash, the crash report said.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 2014 Nor-Tech boat left the water close to the Osage Arm's 1.3 mile marker just before midnight, hit the home and flipped, throwing all its passengers.

Cathy Ramirez, 48, of California, also sustained moderate injuries, the report said. Karlie M. Jones, 21, of California, sustained serious injuries, as did Kyle E. Iltchi, 26, of California, Alex Pratt, 28, of Michigan, Matthew Hillyer, 51, of Mississippi, Amy K. Hillyer, 50, of Mississippi, Adam J. Ramirez, 47, of California.

Adam Ramirez was charged with boating while intoxicated in connection with the incident, which police say caused "extensive damage" to the home's exterior. The boat was removed from the premises Sunday.
