Glen Ellyn Communications Coordinator Grant Paplauskas told Patch, "Veterans Day is about honoring and giving thanks to our soldiers, both past and present, who have made sacrifices for our freedom. It is incredibly important that the village takes the time to recognize and celebrate these heroes, and we are grateful for the opportunity that this day and this ceremony provides to the entire Village of Glen Ellyn community."
