Glen Ellyn's 4th Of July Fireworks: 2019 Guide, Scheduled Time

GLEN ELLYN, IL — July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Glen Ellyn so you can start planning now.

Here's what's in store this July 4th in Glen Ellyn:

July 4th Festivities

Glen Ellyn will hold its annual Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks on July 4. The parade will step off at 12 p.m. from Ellyn Avenue and make its way west on Crescent Boulevard before turning north on Main Street.

The Fourth of July floats and marchers will then make their way east on Linden Avenue before coming to a stop at Lake Ellyn.

Before snagging your seat for the evening's fireworks display, families can take part in afternoon activities at Lake Ellyn Park. The fun events include penny carnival games, face painting, an inflatable obstacle course and live music.

The annual Glen Ellyn Fourth of July Fireworks show will be held at dusk at Lake Ellyn. A limited number of $35 tickets are available for purchase to view the fireworks from the boat dock.
