Glen Ellyn's First-Ever Taco Crawl To Feature Specialty Recipes, Mariachi Bands
Local restaurants will draw from their cultural backgrounds and restaurant themes for a chance to win Taco Crawl glory.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — Downtown Glen Ellyn will host its first-even Taco Crawl and competition on May 2. The all-ages event will feature local restaurants offering specialty tacos that draw inspiration from their cultural backgrounds and restaurant themes.
These include Japanese-inspired tacos, Indian, Italian and Irish fusion tacos and even dessert tacos.
Participants will vote on their favorite tacos, giving restaurants the chance to win Taco Crawl glory in the following five categories.

- Best Drink Pairing
- The Taco You Didn't Know You Needed
A mariachi band will perform live music during the event.
Tickets are $25 and include five street tacos and a souvenir lanyard. Sides and drinks will be available for purchase. There will be no tickets sold during the event, so those who want to attend must by them online by April 30.
