Glendale Heights Girl, 5, Killed in Weekend Crash
The girl has been identified. She was killed after stepping into traffic in Hoffman Estates, authorities said.
A 5-year-old girl killed Saturday after being hit by a car in Hoffman Estates has been identified as Aleeza Haq of Glendale Heights, the Daily Herald reports.
The girl was hit by a vehicle after police said she walked onto West Thacker Street just east of Illinois Boulevard at about 12:27 p.m. on Saturday, according to the article.
No citations have been issued in the crash and the medical examiner’s office has ruled the girl’s death to be accidental.
