GPS event: Even on Your Worst Day You Can Be Someone’s Best Hope
Glenbard Parent Series host Original Freedom Writer Manny Scott on February 20, 7pm at Glenbard East H.S.

The Glenbard Parent Series: (GPS) Navigating Healthy Families will present The Power of One: Even on Your Worst Day You Can Be Someone’s Best Hope with Manny Scott at 7 p.m. m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at Glenbard East High School, 1014 S. Main St. in Lombard.
How can adults balance the demands of their own lives with the challenges of raising well-adjusted children? Scott will detail four practices and principles that engage, equip and empower parents/guardians to reach their children.
Scott touches hearts, informs minds and empowers parents. Sharing insights based on his doctoral research and life experiences, Scott will provide tools that parents can use to encourage every member of the family to thrive.

An original Freedom Writer as spotlighted in the hit movie, “Freedom Writers,” Manny shares how he went from a high school dropout to a doctoral student, husband, father and public servant.
Scott will address Glenbard students during the school day.
